  • English to Russian Phonetic Index

This is an interesting site for phonetic translations of English to Russian. It is extensive with 8,000+ words. It shows phonetic and Cyrillic as well as giving the sound of the words for ease of learning. You must have Apple Quicktime in order to hear the sounds.

Jim's home page has some very interesting links and may be reached at Russian Links

  • International Adoption News
    Excert from this website:

Adopting Internationally is a journey. A journey to family. A journey, literally, to far away places. But this journey doesn’t end when we return home with our children. Our journey as a family is just beginning. And we, now, are not just any kind of family. We are multicultural families, whether our children look like us ethnically or not. Teaching our children to value the cultures of their birth-countries is part of our journey as an adoptive family...It is my goal to present information here that will help enhance your multicultural family.

There are some interesting links and information for further research.
  • Post Adoption Information
This is a beautiful site with lots of interesting information including a good Links page for those of you like me who love to click those links! This excerpt is from their site..."It's our belief that an educated parent is a better-prepared parent, and that a better-prepared parent has the best chance of making their adoption experience a fulfilling one."
